Sometimes, it may appear as if the scanner is not scanning an entire shape as evident by the scan appearing "cut off" or "sliced." This is a common error that usually occurs because the scanner's bounding-box was not properly aligned to the shape. Try the following solutions:
Always remember to begin a scan from 1 foot (30 cm) from your patient. Should you begin a scan closer (or further) from this distance, you may find the body part does not "fit in the scan." If this happens, re-position the iPhone and scan again.
We recommend starting a scan with the phone held perpendicular to the floor. While over time you may find another technique that works best for you, starting a scan in this position will properly align the bounding-box over the shape.
