Sometimes your final scan will appear to overlap on itself - we call this a "Double Image."
To lower your chances of obtaining a double image, remember the following:
One
Make sure the body part is absolutely stable. Motion typically results in a double image.
Two
Only capture the intended limb/body part and avoid capturing parts of the background. Commonly, the scan operator may scan themselves or portions of the background during a session.
Three
Scan in a slow, smooth, and continuous motion throughout the scanning session. Scanning too fast may distort the final scan. In addition, the scan operator should avoid sudden or jerky movements while scanning.
