The Comb Scanner is calibrated to scan a variety of O&P shapes. We've kept the App simple and is solely built to scan, review, and save patient body parts. The following schematic shows the App's user-interface:
The scanning workflow can be summarized in five steps. Like any tool, the Comb Scanner requires practice (5-7 attempts) to get better using it. In general, the scanning process can be thought of as 5 steps.
After a scan has been captured and evaluated, save and access the file from the Comb Portal. The Comb Portal is your access-point to delete and download your scans. Scans will upload to the portal when logged in on iPhone. After downloading, modify the scan with CAD/CAM software or share with a central fabrication center as a .ZIP file.
